Organogel formulation technology for the 21st Century

Magnate^TM organogel was developed during research aimed at improving the substantivity, and therefore the protective ability, of sunscreens. The success of that work is demonstrated by the in vivo tests carried out at the Australian Photobiology Testing Facility at Sydney University. A SPF 30+ was obtained from the formulation when submitted to the rigorous four hour water immersion test. This work has resulted in the formulation of the sunscreen product MX-561.

Current products being developed with our organogel technology include:

Our base technology Magnate^TM organogel is used as a base for our sunscreen product MX-561 and two cosmetic base formulations Cosmagel^TM and Magnatone^TM.

We have extended our range of organogels to include Magnasol and Magnapate which are formed using different combinations of excipients. The latest products are suited to cosmetic uses and an oral organogel for functional food applications.
